Volvo Cars' November sales rise 8% - 2023-12-04 - Marketscreener.com

COPENHAGEN (Reuters) - Volvo Cars' sales grew 8% in November from a year earlier to 63,682 cars, the Sweden-based group said on Monday.

Volvo Cars, which is majority-owned by China's Geely, said in a statement that its fully electric and hybrid cars in November made up more than 50% of all cars sold in Europe, its biggest market.

Volvo Cars said on Monday that sales in the United States were up 26% while, in China, they were up 21%. Sales in Europe were up 2% in November.

COPENHAGEN, Dec 4 (Reuters) - Volvo Cars' (VOLCARb.ST) sales grew 8% in November from a year earlier to 63,682 cars, the Sweden-based group said on Monday.

Volvo Cars, which is majority-owned by China's Geely (0175.HK), said in a statement that its fully electric and hybrid cars in November made up more than 50% of all cars sold in Europe, its biggest market.

Volvo Cars said on Monday that sales in the United States were up 26% while, in China, they were up 21%. Sales in Europe were up 2% in November.

Man found dead inside car after shooting at apartment complex in ... - NBC 5 Dallas-Fort Worth

Arlington Police are investigating a homicide after a man was found shot to death inside a car in the parking lot of an apartment complex Sunday evening.

The fatal shooting happened around 7:20 p.m. in the 2900 block of Forest Hollow Lane.

The Arlington Police Department said when officers responded to a reported shooting in the area, they found the body of a man inside a car with multiple apparent gunshot wounds.

Authorities have not released any details regarding a suspect, and they said investigators are working to determine what happened.

Real-life Grinch: Man snatches Christmas tree from car's roof in San Mateo - KTVU FOX 2 San Francisco

SAN MATEO, Calif. - Police in San Mateo say a man snatched a Christmas tree right from the roof of a car.

The crime happened at a shopping center parking lot near Chess Drive and Vintage Park.

Video shows the man removing the tree that was tied to the roof of a Honda, and then putting it inside his Infiniti SUV.

The victim bought the tree for $250 and told KTVU she couldn't believe this happened.

Anyone who can identify the alleged thief or his car should call San Mateo police.
